2025 was my second (calendar) year as a full-time freelancer. It was a sick year for Growing My Business and I’m endlessly grateful to the kind people who make me feel more like a collaborator than a hired gun ❤️‍🔥 I kept better data, worked significantly more, and was looking forward to making this silly little roundup again — but you make plans and god laughs etc etc. My dad got sick. I took a month off to navigate his medical care, a full-time job in its own right, and then more to grieve when he unexpectedly passed. None of that information translates to graphs 🤔 but when your business is being creative (and being yourself!) it feels like it can’t go without mention. xx
